Return & Refund Policy
These terms apply to all wholesale and retail buyers, boutiques, marinas, resorts, outfitters, distributors, and other business-to-business purchases from Salt Skins, LLC.
Final Sale Wholesale Orders
All wholesale orders are final once confirmed by Salt Skins, LLC. Because Salt Skins, LLC products may be made to order, printed to order, custom selected, seasonal, limited-run, or produced based on Buyer's requested styles, quantities, sizes, colors, or designs, Salt Skins, LLC does not accept returns, cancellations, refunds, exchanges, markdown requests, chargebacks, or deductions except as expressly stated in this policy.
Salt Skins, LLC is not responsible for Buyer's sell-through, resale performance, customer demand, missed retail season, canceled event, late store opening, over-ordering, wrong size selection, wrong color selection, wrong design selection, duplicate order, change in assortment plans, lack of shelf space, buyer remorse, or any other business decision made by Buyer.
No Returns for Non-Defective Products
Salt Skins, LLC does not accept returns or issue refunds for non-defective products, including but not limited to:
Overstock or unsold inventory
Slow-moving merchandise
Seasonal merchandise
Products Buyer no longer wants to carry
Incorrect sizes, colors, designs, styles, or quantities selected by Buyer
Buyer's customer returns
Buyer's internal ordering mistakes
Products that have been displayed, tagged, stickered, marked, used, worn, washed, altered, damaged, discounted, or resold
Products delivered later than Buyer hoped, unless Salt Skins, LLC expressly guaranteed a delivery date in writing
Items that are placed into incorrect mailboxes or lost during transit when a confirmation of delivery has been given and verified.
Order Review and Accuracy
Buyer is responsible for carefully reviewing all order details before approval, including product style, artwork, size, color, quantity, price, shipping address, billing information, and requested delivery window. Once an order is submitted, changes are not guaranteed and may be refused if production, printing, fulfillment, packing, or shipping has begun.
Defective or Damaged Product Claims
Salt Skins, LLC stands behind the quality of its products. If Buyer receives a product that is defective or damaged before delivery, Salt Skins, LLC will review the claim and determine, in its sole discretion, whether the product qualifies for replacement, repair, credit, or refund.
Minor variations in print placement, color, shade, artwork scale, fabric tone, sizing tolerance, production batch, or product finish are not considered defects. Such variations are normal in apparel production and printed goods.
No defective or damaged product claim will be accepted for products that have been used, worn, washed, altered, tagged, stickered, marked, displayed, discounted, resold, or damaged after delivery.
Inspection Requirement
Buyer must inspect all products immediately upon delivery. Claims for shortages, incorrect items, visible damage, defective products, or order discrepancies must be submitted in writing within five business days of delivery.
Claims must include the order number, photos of the product, photos of the packaging, photos of the shipping label, a description of the issue, and any other information Salt Skins, LLC reasonably requests.
Failure to submit a complete written claim within five business days of delivery means Buyer has accepted the order in full and waives any claim for shortage, defect, damage, incorrect item, refund, replacement, credit, deduction, or chargeback.
Exclusive Remedy
Buyer's sole and exclusive remedy for any approved claim is, at Salt Skins, LLC's sole discretion, replacement, repair, store credit, account credit, or refund of the purchase price actually paid for the affected product only.
Salt Skins, LLC will not be responsible for freight, lost profits, lost sales, missed resale opportunities, retail markdowns, customer refunds, advertising costs, labor costs, storage costs, chargebacks, penalties, special damages, incidental damages, consequential damages, or any amount greater than the purchase price paid for the affected product.
Return Authorization Required
No product may be returned without prior written authorization from Salt Skins, LLC. If Salt Skins, LLC authorizes a return, Salt Skins, LLC will provide instructions. Unauthorized returns may be refused, discarded, or returned to Buyer at Buyer's expense. Issuance of a return authorization does not guarantee a refund, credit, or replacement.
Return Shipping
If Salt Skins, LLC determines that a product is defective or damaged and requires the product to be returned, Salt Skins, LLC may provide a prepaid return label. Buyer must package the product securely and return it within the timeframe provided. If the product is not returned as instructed, Salt Skins, LLC may deny the claim.
For any return approved as a courtesy for non-defective products, Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, handling costs, merchant fees, and any restocking fee determined by Salt Skins, LLC.
