Founded in 1997, Colorado Women Flyfishers has spent three decades educating, encouraging, and building community for women in the sport of fly fishing. What started in Denver now reaches members across many states, with clinics, trips through Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, and beyond, monthly meetings, and the kind of friendships that only form standing knee-deep in a cold river.

To celebrate CWF’s 30th anniversary, Salt Skins is proud to partner with the club on a collection of custom-branded products, built for the women who have made the river their second home.

The Brook Trout Sling Bag leads the collection. The pattern comes from a real brook trout, caught and released back into cold, clean water. Look closely, and you will see what makes this fish one of the most beautiful in freshwater: the olive, worm-like vermiculations across the back, the red spots haloed in blue, and the crisp white edges on the lower fins. Technically a char rather than a true trout, the brookie only thrives in pristine water, which makes it a fitting symbol for a club that has spent 30 years sharing a love of wild places. This design was not generated. It was caught.
