Salt Skins Colorado Women Flyfishers Green Brown Trout V-Neck Long Sleeve

Picture the color of a Colorado river in early summer, cold and clear and lit from within. That is the green we were chasing.

Colorado Women Flyfishers began in 1997 with a simple idea: women deserve a place to learn, grow, and fish together. Thirty years later, that idea has grown into a nonprofit with members across many states, a calendar full of clinics and social events, and trips that reach from Colorado into Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, and beyond. Members come for the fishing and stay for the people.

Salt Skins is celebrating CWF’s 30th anniversary alongside the club with a collection of custom-branded pieces, each one made to honor the women who keep this sport moving forward.

The pattern on this long sleeve belongs to a real brown trout, one we brought to hand, photographed, and slipped back into the current. Its spot pattern stays exactly as nature drew it. The palette is where we had some fun, trading the fish’s earthy tones for a vivid, brilliant green. Brought to North America from Europe in the 1880s, the brown trout has since made itself at home in cold western rivers and become a favorite of anglers who appreciate a fish that makes you work for it. This design was not generated. It was caught.

Made with a lightweight, stretchy blend, this V-neck stays comfortable whether you are stripping streamers, hiking to a high lake, or meeting friends after a day on the water. The clean V-neckline keeps it polished, and the color makes it impossible to lose in a crowd.
