Founded in 1997, Colorado Women Flyfishers has spent three decades educating, encouraging, and building community for women in fly fishing. What started in Denver now reaches members across many states, with clinics, trips through Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, and beyond, monthly meetings, and the kind of friendships that only form standing knee-deep in a cold river.

To celebrate CWF’s 30th anniversary, Salt Skins is proud to partner with the club on a collection of custom-branded products, built for the women who have made the river their second home.

The Purple Brown Trout Tee gives that celebration a color all its own. The all-over print starts with a real brown trout, caught and released back into the river it calls home, then reimagined in rich shades of purple. The color is new, but the fish is not. Every bold spot and every pale halo still follows the pattern of the trout we held in our hands before letting it go. Wary, selective, and known to save its biggest moves for low light, the brown trout rewards patience and a well-placed drift, the same skills CWF has spent 30 years teaching on the water.
