Sea Trout Waffle Tea Towel by Salt Skins
Sea Trout Waffle Tea Towel by Salt Skins
The Salt Skins Spotted Sea Trout Waffle Tea Towel brings one of the inshore anglers’ favorite fish onto your galley, boat cabin, or kitchen counter. Spotted sea trout roam the grass flats, oyster bars, and estuaries of the Gulf and Atlantic, and despite the name, they’re actually members of the drum family. They’ll crush a topwater at first light or slam a shrimp under a popping cork, then thrash the surface with head shakes that test their famously soft mouths. Look for the silvery body, the scattering of black spots across the back, fins, and tail, and the pair of sharp canine teeth in the upper jaw that give the big ones their “gator trout” nickname. This fish earned its place on this towel the hard way: caught, photographed, and released by our crew. This design was not generated. It was caught.
